The success of the scheme owes much to the site planning and landscape. The Manor House entrance and long approach to the property ultimately restored the feeling of grandeur that the Hall once had.
The hall was extended in the form of two wings adding another 40% to the original floor area, including a swimming pool and leisure facilities. In addition, the hall was given its own garaging and stores, along with a tennis court.
Conversion of the main barn building resulted in an underground garage, which ensured uninterrupted views over the Cheshire Plain and protected the setting of the Hall, in particular the distant views from public footpaths.
