Bollington homes Approval

Hillcrest Homes has gained planning consent from Cheshire East Council for 34 homes off Albert Road in Bollington, with work due to start later this year.

Hillcrest’s plans, designed by architect Calderpeel, are for a mix of homes on the site near the Bollington household waste recycling centre and the River Dean.

This greenfield plot has been allocated for employment purposes since the 1990s, but no scheme has ever been brought forward. A site opposite has planning permission for 33 homes, granted in 2015.

Hillcrest is proposing to build 12 detached homes and a mix of terraces and semi-detached houses; 10 of these are allocated as affordable. The sizes range from four bedrooms to two bedrooms.

James Payne, Hillcrest managing director said: “It’s fantastic news and we’re very much looking forward to getting started on site.  We’re extremely proud of our proposals and are confident they will set a new benchmark for high quality new homes in the town.”

Hillcrest was advised on the application by Emery Planning.
