Plot 08, an individual 11,000sqft houses on the Queen’s Crescent, overlooking the 14th hole of the Queen’s Course at Gleneagles has gained planning approval.
The design intention was to create a house befitting of the prized location affording long views across the golf course to the back drop of the Auchterarder hills and to create a statement building set amongst the existing mature trees.
Reference is taken from the best examples of local vernacular Scottish architecture, the character defined by steeply pitched roofs, low eaves, parapet gables, slender windows and traditional materials.
The design is a direct response to a stunning site and open brief from the client, resulting in a blend of traditional architectural language and the best of contemporary living spaces.
