jeans for genes day

Friday 5th October was Jeans for Genes Day, so this year we had to come up with another genius idea, which did not involve waxing Harry’s back!! We convinced Ewen Miller, Tom Mulroy and Mark Massey to dress as women for the whole day. Dresses, wigs, high heels and make up transformed these likely lads into lovely ladies!

We would like to thank all of you who sponsored the guys, who I am sure you will agree were great sports. So far we have raised over £500 for this very worthy charity, and still rising. Every year, Jeans for Genes raises funds for research into genetic disorders affecting children and for valuable support services for families.

So far the appeal has raised over TWENTY SEVEN MILLION POUNDS which has funded research at hospitals and research centres across the nation, leading to a major breakthrough in gene therapy.
