They've created some of the more imposing developments of recent years in Manchester and Cheshire, but architects calderpeel are reverting to the rather more basic materials of rope and tarpaulin for an unusual party venue.
For the company is going to erect two huge teepee tents to host a glitzy bash to celebrate 15 years of business.
I hear the company, behind upmarket apartment developments like Didsbury Point and City Gate, got the idea after seeing celebrity chef Jamie Oliver hosting a "cook-off" in the teepee tents on TV recently.
A spokeswoman for the company said: "We wanted to do something a bit different from the usual cocktails and canapes in a room.
"We managed to get in touch with the people who supplied Jamie Oliver's teepees, and will be putting them up in our company car park for the bash."
Around 300 guests are expected to pow-wow the night away next month in the tents, to be erected at calderpeel's Altrincham offices.
